Domain-Wide Delegation (Organization Feature)
Domain-Wide Delegation is an organization-level feature that allows Marmend to access calendars for all users in your Google Workspace without requiring each person to connect individually.
For Administrators
Domain-Wide Delegation is configured in Administration > Integrations:
- Click on Administration in the left sidebar
- Select Integrations
- Find the Google Calendar card
- The card shows the connection status for Domain-Wide Delegation
- If not configured, click for setup instructions (links to documentation)
Note: Setting up Domain-Wide Delegation requires:
- Google Workspace Admin access
- Service account configuration in Google Cloud Console
- Authorization in Google Workspace Admin Console
See the technical documentation for detailed setup instructions.
For Users
If your organization has Domain-Wide Delegation enabled:
- Your calendar events may be visible to the system without you needing to connect
- This is used for features like automatic meeting bot scheduling
- Your personal calendar connection (above) is still separate and gives you control over what you see
