AI Social Media Post Generation

Updated March 5, 2026

Overview

Marmend lets you generate social media posts for your vacancies using AI. Create engaging LinkedIn and Telegram posts directly from any vacancy card, then refine the draft with voice or text prompts until it matches your brand voice.

This feature requires the social_post_generation feature flag to be enabled for your organization.

Getting Started

Opening the Post Generator

  1. Navigate to Recruiting > Vacancies
  2. Find the vacancy you want to promote
  3. Click the Post with AI button on the vacancy card (visible only for published vacancies)
  4. In the share modal, choose a platform:
    • LinkedIn — Click Generate and share next to LinkedIn
    • Telegram — Click Generate and share next to a Telegram channel
  5. The AI post generator opens with a pre-filled prompt based on the vacancy title

Share Post Modal

The share modal provides quick access to all sharing options:

  • LinkedIn — Generate an AI post for LinkedIn (requires LinkedIn integration)
  • Telegram Channels — Generate a post for connected Telegram channels
  • Add channel — Link to integrations settings to connect new channels
  • Copy Link — Copy a short URL to the vacancy for quick sharing

Writing a Post

Initial Generation

When you open the post generator, Marmend automatically creates a first draft based on the vacancy details:

  • Vacancy title, department, and team
  • Location, job type, and schedule
  • Skills and requirements
  • The platform you selected (LinkedIn or Telegram)

The AI uses your vacancy information to write a professional, platform-appropriate post. LinkedIn posts are written in a professional tone with clear structure, while Telegram posts are more concise and emoji-friendly.

Refining the Draft

After the initial draft is generated, you can improve it using several methods:

Quick Actions — Click a chip below the draft to apply a common refinement:

  • Rewrite opening — Get a fresh opening paragraph
  • Make shorter — Condense the post to be more punchy
  • Add emojis — Add relevant emojis for visual engagement
  • Add hashtags — Add professional hashtags for discoverability
  • More engaging — Rewrite with a compelling hook and stronger call to action

Custom Prompts — Type or dictate a specific instruction in the prompt input at the bottom:

  • "Add a call to action at the end"
  • "Mention the remote work option"
  • "Make it more enthusiastic"

Each refinement creates a new version in the chat history, so you can compare drafts.

Inline Editing

For targeted changes to specific text:

  1. Select a portion of the generated text by highlighting it
  2. A small editing popup appears
  3. Type your refinement instruction (e.g., "make this more concise")
  4. Review the suggested replacement
  5. Click Accept to apply or Cancel to discard

Vacancy Details

While editing, you can view the full vacancy details by clicking the vacancy title in the prompt. This opens an info modal showing the description, requirements, skills, and benefits — helpful for ensuring your post accurately reflects the position.

Publishing to Social Networks

Once you are happy with the generated post, click the Publish button to share it on the selected platform.

Publishing to LinkedIn

Requirements: Your LinkedIn account must be connected via the LinkedIn Integration.

When you click Publish:

  1. Marmend posts the content directly to your LinkedIn feed using the LinkedIn API
  2. A success confirmation appears with a View on LinkedIn link
  3. Click the link to see your published post on LinkedIn

Note: If your LinkedIn integration is not connected, you will see an error message. Go to Settings > Integrations to set up your LinkedIn connection first.

The post includes a link back to the vacancy page, so interested candidates can apply directly.

Publishing to Telegram

Requirements: At least one Telegram channel must be connected via the Telegram Integration.

Telegram publishing works in one of two modes depending on your channel settings:

Direct Publishing

If the Telegram channel does not require post approval:

  1. Click Publish — the post is sent directly to the Telegram channel
  2. A success confirmation appears once the message is delivered
  3. The post appears in the channel immediately

Publishing with Approval

If the channel administrator has enabled post approval for the channel:

  1. Click Publish — Marmend creates an approval request
  2. The channel administrator receives a notification with a 6-digit approval code
  3. The administrator enters the code to approve the post
  4. Once approved, the post is published to the channel
  5. You see an info message: "Post sent for approval. The channel admin will receive a code to confirm."

Tip: Ask your administrator whether post approval is enabled for your Telegram channels. Direct publishing is faster for time-sensitive job postings.

Post Tracking

After publishing, Marmend tracks each post:

  • LinkedIn — The post URL is linked in the success modal, so you can check engagement (likes, comments, shares) directly on LinkedIn
  • Telegram — Post delivery status is tracked (sent, pending approval, or failed). You can see the status in the Telegram integration settings

Each platform link includes a tracking parameter so you can see in Vacancy Analytics how many candidates came from each social network.

Voice Input

If your organization has voice recording enabled, you can dictate prompts instead of typing:

  1. Click the microphone icon in the prompt input
  2. Speak your refinement instruction
  3. The transcribed text appears as your prompt
  4. Press Enter or click Send to submit

Tips

  • Start with a quick action like Make shorter to get the post to the right length, then use custom prompts for fine-tuning
  • Use Add hashtags to improve discoverability on LinkedIn — the AI will add relevant industry and role hashtags
  • Use Add emojis for Telegram posts to make them visually stand out in busy channels
  • LinkedIn posts perform best at 150–300 words with a strong opening line
  • Telegram posts can be shorter and more casual — aim for 50–150 words
  • Use inline editing for small tweaks rather than regenerating the entire post
  • Review the vacancy details modal to make sure key selling points are included in the post
  • Post to both LinkedIn and Telegram to reach different audiences — generate separate posts optimized for each platform
